Context
Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve is not one venue. It is a live district containing public audiences, hospitality operations, production systems, security interfaces, road and crowd considerations, suppliers and a broadcast moment that cannot move.
My responsibility
I supported and led assigned project-management workstreams across planning, stakeholder coordination, operational readiness and live execution. The role required decisions to remain practical at city scale and communication to stay clear under extreme time pressure.
The delivery system
- Worked backwards from the immovable broadcast deadline.
- Converted multiple stakeholder requirements into controlled actions and deadlines.
- Maintained visibility across operational dependencies, escalation points and live readiness.
- Supported team and supplier coordination through planning, rehearsals and show delivery.
- Protected the audience experience by focusing on issues most guests should never notice.
